Our parents are a vital part of our community and we work in partnership together to ensure progress and success for our children.
We are well resourced and have a special location close to the beach (with a fantastic vista) and our bush close by.

Responding to our changing world
The staff of the school are committed to providing a wide range of experiences in and out of the classroom.
The school celebrates its bicultural/multicultural nature through activities such as kapa haka groups, assemblies and merit cups.
In primary years literacy and numeracy form the main focus for learning with resources maintained to a high standard.
Staff participate in professional development to ensure they stay up-to-date with research while students are encouraged to become independent, enthusiastic learners.
